About the Founder

Unlike many other products in today’s world, TiteLine was born not from a business idea, but from a true and organic desire to better one’s life. Co-founder Ryan Slater was tired of getting his insulin pump tubing caught in just about every object that one would encounter in life.  Door handles, drawers, car doors – you name it – the inconvenience of Ryan’s traditional tubing was becoming increasingly burdensome, and he knew there had to be a better solution.  Having been diabetic for 16 years and tired of going through multiple infusions every day, he came up with an idea to make wearing an insulin pump easier for himself and others.  He began spending nights researching other devices on the market, but found nothing that he felt provided an adequate solution for his lifestyle needs.  He then came up with the idea for TiteLine in 2013, developed drawings, and brought it to market.  Since then, Ryan has seen countless individuals improved their quality of life and can’t wait to see the larger impact his product will have on others.
